FOUR-PEAT GRAND SLAM CHAMPIONS

Reigning three-time Roland Garros champion Rafael Nadal will join an elite group of players if he can win his fourth consecutive title in Paris. Bjorn Borg is the only player to win the Roland Garros crown four straight times in the history of the tournament (since 1925). Here are the players to win at least four consecutive Grand Slam titles in the Open Era (since 1968):

54 & COUNTING ON GRASS

Roger Federer has compiled an Open Era record 54-match winning streak on grass going into his next scheduled tournament in Halle, where he’s won four titles. In addition to Halle, he’s captured five consecutive Wimbledon titles. His last loss on grass came to Mario Ancic in the first round at Wimbledon in 2002. During his unbeaten streak he’s defeated seven different opponents in the final:

BIG 3 DOMINATION

Since last year’s Roland Garros, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have made frequent semifinals appearances together, including four times this season and seven overall. At least one of the three has also reached the last 14 ATP Masters Series finals. Earlier this year, the trio became the first Top 3 players in the South African Airways ATP Rankings to accumulate 5,000 points each. Last year, the trio led the ATP circuit in titles won – Federer (8), Nadal (6) and Djokovic (5). Here’s a breakdown of their finishes when they have appeared together in the semifinals:
