Different Grand Slam Champions
This is the first time since 2005 that the first three Grand Slam tournaments have been captured by three different players. Here is a look since 2000 at the different winners in the first three Slam tournaments and the US Open champion:

Since the inception of the South African Airways ATP Rankings in 1973, 25 players have risen to World No. 1. Since 1973, the US Open has been won 36 of 39 times by a player who held, at some point in his career, the No. 1 mantle. Here is a look, since 1973, at how often each Grand Slam tournament has been won by a player who rose to No. 1 during his career.
