The action heats up at the seventh ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament of the season at the Western & Southern Financial Group Masters in Cincinnati as 19 of the Top 20 players in the South African Airways 2009 ATP Rankings will be on hand. For the second week in a row every player in the Top 10 is in the tournament, led by ATP World Tour No. 1 and 2005, '07 champion Roger Federer, whose 21-match winning streak came to an end in the quarter-finals in Montreal. No. 2 Rafael Nadal, who turned in a semi-final showing last year, is back for the second straight week since knee problems sidelined him after Roland Garros. Defending champion Andy Murray, who beat Novak Djokovic in last year's final, is in pursuit of the No. 2 ranking. Murray is 9-3 lifetime in Cincinnati and he has the best winning percentage on hard courts this year. The last time a player ranked outside the Top 10 won the Rogers Cup was in 2002 when No. 19-ranked Guillermo Canas came in unseeded and beat four Top 10 opponents en route to the title.
