Top seed Andy Murray, No. 2 Nikolay Davydenko and No. 4 seed Fernando Verdasco are among the five seeds in second round action Thursday at the Valencia Open 500. Davydenko and Verdasco are trying to secure the final two positions in the year-ending Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London, which begins Nov. 22. In the first match on Pista Agora, Pablo Cuevas of Uruguay takes on Russian Mikhail Youzhny for the first time. In the second match, Davydenko takes a 2-1 advantage against Argentine Juan Monaco, then No. 7 seed Tommy Robredo brings a 3-0 mark against countryman Feliciano Lopez. In the final day session match, Verdasco looks for his first win (0-2) against Serb Janko Tipsarevic. In the evening session, Murray and Argentine Leonardo Mayer (both born on May 15, 1987) meet for the first time while No. 8 David Ferrer takes a 2-0 mark against countryman Alberto Montanes.
