This year's Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha, a $1,024,000 ATP World Tour 250 tournament, is led by five-time ATP World Tour Champion Roger Federer and 2008 ATP World Tour Champion Rafael Nadal. Federer, who is 15-2 lifetime in Doha, captured the title in 2005-06.

Nadal is making his third appearance in Doha and last year he won the doubles title (w/M. Lopez). In singles, he reached the quarter-finals in 2005 and last year. The No. 3 seed is Barclays ATP World Tour Finals champion Nikolay Davydenko, who is a three-time semi-finalist in Doha.

On Monday, there are four seeds in action with No. 4 Mikhail Youzhny of Russia the highest seed on court. The other seeds are No. 5 Viktor Troicki of Serbia, No. 6 Albert Montanes of Spain and No. 7 Ivo Karlovic of Croatia.
