First-time pairing Jeremy Chardy and Feliciano Lopez came back to defeat third seeds Michael Llodra and Nenad Zimonjic 6-7(6), 7-6(5), 10-8 for a place in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships final on Friday night.

Llodra and Zimonjic dropped to a 7-3 match record on the season. So far this year, the French-Serbian duo have reached the Australian Open quarter-finals (l. to Bhupathi-Paes) and the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament final (l. to Melzer-Petzschner).

Chardy and Lopez will meet Sergiy Stakhovsky and Mikhail Youzhny in Saturday's final.

Stakhovsky and Youzhny reached their second ATP World Tour doubles final together as they defeated Spanish-Belgian duo Marcel Granollers and Dick Norman 6-3, 6-4. The Ukrainian-Russian pairing broke serve once in each set as they clinched victory in 62 minutes.

Stakhovsky and Youzhny won the Halle title (d. Damm-Polasek) in just their second outing together last June, but had only won one match in two tournaments together in 2011 coming into Dubai.

At Delray Beach, top seeds Eric Butorac and Jean-Julien Rojer moved to within one win of their second final in two weeks with a 6-1, 6-4 win over Ashley Fisher and former Wimbledon champion Stephen Huss. The Australian Open semi-finalists improved to a 13-5 record on the year, which includes a run to last week’s Memphis final (l. Mirnyi-Nestor).  Butorac is currently a career high No, 28 in the 2011 ATP Doubles Rankings; Rojer is a career-high No. 27.

In Acapulco, Victor Hanescu and 2010 Wimbledon finalist Horia Tecau advanced to the final with a 3-6, 6-3, 10-4 win over Travis Parrott and Filip Polasek, who upset the top-seeded Bryan brothers in the first round.
