ATP World Tour 2011 Season: Week 29

Marach, Peya© German Tennis ChampionshipsOliver Marach and Alexander Peya will hope to avenge April's final loss in Belgrade.

Third-seeded Austrians Oliver Marach and Alexander Peya will challenge fourth seeds Frantisek Cermak of the Czech Republic and Slovak Filip Polasek in the Sunday's doubles final of the bet-at-home Open - German Tennis Championships 2011.

It will be a repeat of the Serbia Open 2011 title-match at Belgrade in May, which Cermak and Polasek won 7-5, 6-2.

Marach and Peya, who are playing together for the first time since the Belgrade final, defeated German wild cards Andreas Beck and Christopher Kas 7-6(3), 6-4 on Saturday evening.

Marach and Peya first teamed up in Kitzbuehel 10 years ago, but they have played seldom since then. They have a 7-5 career mark as a team. Cermak and Polasek have not dropped a set en route to their second ATP World Tour doubles final together. They have an 11-3 career mark in their fifth tournament.

Cermak has a 24-16 record in ATP World Tour finals, his partner Polasek is 5-6 overall. Marach is 9-8 and Peya is looking for his first title (0-5).

Alex Bogomolov Jr. and Matthew Ebden defeated Richard Berankis and Xavier Malisse 6-1, 7-6(3) to advance to the final of the Atlanta Tennis Championships.

The American-Australian duo won 84 per cent of their first serve points to take the match in one hour and five minutes. Ebden is coming off his first ATP World Tour title in Newport, where he partnered Ryan Harrison to the trophy. Bogomolov will contest his first final since finishing runner-up in Beijing with Taylor Dent in 2004.

The two will face Matthias Bachinger and Frank Moser, who upended No. 4 seeds Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins 6-4, 1-6, 10-8.

The Germans won three fewer points than their British opponents, but converted a mini-break up 9-8 in the match tie-break to clinch the victory.

Bachinger will appear in his first ATP World Tour final, while Moser is into a championship match for the second time, having reached the final of the Farmers Classic in 2009 with Benjamin Becker.
