Nadal, Tipsarevic Strip Down In New Campaigns

Nadal, who fronted Armani’s Spring/Summer campaign earlier this year along with actress Megan Fox, can be seen in a new set of ads for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans. The Fall/Winter advertisements, which also features singer Rihanna for Armani Jeans, were taken by prominent fashion photographer Steven Klein.
“For me it’s a new experience, to know a little more about the world of fashion,” said Nadal during the campaign unveiling in New York during the US Open. “I like to wear Armani Jeans almost all the time when I go out. Armani Jeans and some t-shirt or shirt with a jacket.”
Tipsarevic is making his first foray into the modelling business as the new face of Extreme Intimo. Described as a sportsman “dressed to win”, the Serbian was photographed by Belgrade-based Milena Rakočević in a boxing ring, gym and locker room. Tipsarevic turned his first fashion shoot into an active training session; during breaks, he kept things dynamic by making three-point shots on the basketball court, doing sit-ups and kicking a boxing bag.
“I lead a very active and dynamic lifestyle and that can be quite arduous sometimes,” said Tipsarevic. “I like feeling good in my own skin, which is to be expected because it is only through comfort, quality and safety that I can overcome all the obstacles and achieve my goals.
“In life as well as on the court, I have to be decisive. Therefore, I am very pleased that I have chosen Extreme Intimo and, of course, that Extreme Intimo has chosen me. Personally, I see a direct connection between comfort and self-confidence, not only in life but on the tennis court as well, and that is why it is important to me, as it is to most men, to wear what I wear with pride.”
