Two teams who have already qualified for the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in November recorded straight sets wins at the China Open on Tuesday.

Top seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan improved to a 48-11 match record on the season after the American twins defeated Lukas Dlouhy and Alexandr Dolgopolov 6-2, 6-2. The pair, major titlists at the Australian Open and Wimbledon this year, dropped just eight points on serve and saved all four break points they faced.

Third seeds Michael Llodra and Nenad Zimonjic blasted past Rik de Voest and Ashley Fisher 6-3, 6-3 in just 59 minutes. They improved to a 35-12 mark on the year, highlighted by two titles from five finals. Fisher was seeking his 150th tour-level doubles match win.

At the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo, Andy Murray and Jamie Murray won an entertaining first-round encounter against Pablo Andujar and Milos Raonic 7-5, 6-7(2), 10-6 in just over 90 minutes. The Scottish brothers are attempting to win their second ATP World Tour title after lifting silverware in October 2010 at the Valencia Open 500 (d. Bhupathi-Mirnyi).
