Fresh off winning his third ATP World Tour crown at the SAP Open last weekend, Milos Raonic returns to the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships as one of the most in-form players in 2012.

On the back of his San Jose title defence, Raonic found an extra source of inspiration to continue his success in Memphis this week. The 21 year old attended the Memphis Grizzlies NBA Basketball game Tuesday evening, where he met fellow Montenegro native Nikola Vucevic of the visiting Philadelphia 76ers during the pre-game warm-up. "Getting the opportunity to meet a Montenegrin athlete was amazing, considering the amount of us in the professional athletics world is pretty scarce," Raonic told ATPWorldTour.com. "It was nice to have some origin relations with somebody and meet them."

Raonic and his team, coach Galo Blanco and physio Juan Ozon, took part in the pre-tip meeting, greeted by representatives from both squads, including Grizzlies center Marc Gasol at the FedEx Forum. "The basketball game was fun. I'm a big basketball fan, as it's probably the sport I enjoy watching most," revealed Raonic. "I think they are incredible athletes. To watch two top teams in the Western and Eastern Conferences was pretty exciting."

The World No. 35 opens his tournament campaign Wednesday night against Latvian Ernests Gulbis. Raonic finished runner-up last year, falling to Andy Roddick in a thrilling three-set final.
