DUBAI WEDNESDAY PREVIEW - EIGHT TOP 10 STARS SHOOT FOR QUARTER-FINALS
• The second round of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships takes the courts Wednesday and with eight of the Top 10 coming to Dubai, there is the possibility of an all-Top 10 player quarter-final line-up
• The Top 4 seeds - Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Andy Murray and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - are all playing on Centre Court while the rest of the Top 8 seeds play on either Court 1 or Court 3
• Only two players have won Dubai more than once: Federer (four times) and Novak Djokovic (three times)

ACAPULCO WEDNESDAY PREVIEW – BUSY THIRD DAY FEATURES ALL EIGHT SECOND ROUND MATCHES
• All eight second  matches at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel will be held  on Wednesday with six of the top eight seeds in action.

• In the first men’s match on Cancha Central, No. 8 seed Fernando Verdasco takes a 4-3 career mark against veteran Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela. Six of their previous seven meetings have come on clay. This will be their first meeting in nearly four years since Roland Garros in 2008 as Verdasco prevailed in four sets. Both players have enjoyed success in Mexico with Verdasco advancing to the final in 2004 and Chela capturing titles in 2000 (in Mexico City) and ’07. He also was runner-up in ’06.

• In the next men’s match, top seed and two-time defending champion David Ferrer brings a 14-1 match record on the season against Lukasz Kubot of Poland. Ferrer is on an 11-match winning streak in Acapulco and he owns a career mark of 14-3 here. Kubot is coming off a season-best quarter-final effort in Memphis last week.

• On Cancha 2, No. 2 seed and 2008-09 champion and runner-up last year Nicolas Almagro takes on Frenchman Benoit Paire for the first time. Almagro is off to a 16-4 start this season and he’s coming off final appearances the past two weekends. He won his 11th career ATP World Tour title in Sao Paulo and was runner-up in Buenos Aires. Almagro is 22-5 in his career in Acapulco. In the second match, No. 4 Kei Nishikori takes a 1-0 mark against Frenchman Jeremy Chardy.

DELRAY BEACH WEDNESDAY PREVIEW – TOP SEED ISNER, NO. 6 BOGOMOLOV JR., NO. 8 TOMIC EYE QUARTERS
• There are four second round matches at the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships on Wednesday with the top seed and 2010 champion in action.

• The first singles match of the day features 2010 champion Ernests Gulbis of Latvia against Belgian Steve Darcis in a first-time meeting. Gulbis is looking to reach his first ATP World Tour quarter-final of the season while Darcis is attempting to advance to his second quarter-final in three weeks. He was a quarter-finalist in San Jose two weeks ago.

• In the next match, the World No. 1 doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan, who won doubles titles here in 2009-10, take on the squad of Jarkko Nieminen of Finland and Viktor Troicki of Serbia. The Bryans have finished as year-end No. 1 in seven of the past nine years and they are the winning team in the Open Era with 76 titles together.

• In the evening session, top seed and No. 2 American John Isner looks to reach his second straight quarter-final (Memphis last week) as he faces countryman Ryan Sweeting and Fort Lauderdale resident Ryan Sweeting for the first time. Isner is a career-high No. 11 this week in the South African Airways ATP Rankings and he has a 7-3 match record on the season. Sweeting looks to even his match record (4-5) on the season and advance to his first ATP World Tour quarter-final since capturing his first career title in Houston last April (d. Nishikori).

• In the final match, American qualifier Tim Smyczek, who upset World No. 19 Jurgen Melzer in the first round on Tuesday, squares off with No. 8 seed Bernard Tomic of Australia in a first-time meeting. Smyczek is ranked No. 287 and he’s one of two qualifiers (Matosevic) to reach the second round. Tomic is attempting to reach his second quarter-final of the season. In the opening week he advanced to the semi-finals in Brisbane.

• On Court 1, No. 6 seed and Boca Raton resident Alex Bogomolov Jr. meets Aussie qualifier Marinko Matosevic of Australia for the first time on the ATP World Tour.
