Doubles 2012

Top seeds Frantisek Cermak and Filip Polasek rallied past No. 4 seeds Juan Sebastian Cabal and Robert Farah 1-6, 7-6(5), 10-8 in the semi-finals of the BMW Open in Munich Friday.

The Czech/Slovak pair won six fewer points, but prevailed in one hour and 45 minutes over the Colombian pair.

Cermak and Polasek are through to their second final of the year, having finished runner-up in their season-opening event at the Heineken Open in Auckland (l. to Marach/Peya).

At the Serbia Open 2012, second seeds Scott Lipsky and Rajeev Ram defeated Jordan Kerr and Dudi Sela 6-3, 6-3 in the Belgrade quarter-finals.

Lipsky and Ram capitalised on four of their seven break point opportunities to advance in 58 minutes. The Americans will face Martin Emmrich and Andreas Siljestrom for a place in the final.

Third seeds Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram reached the final four with a 6-3, 2-6, 10-7 victory over Ivan Dodig and Antonio Veic. The Israeli tandem, looking to win their first title of the season, will play Spaniards Pablo Andujar and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez next.
