Top seeds Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak defeated Italians Simone Bolelli and Daniele Bracciali 7-5, 6-3 in 76 minutes on Saturday to capture the Kremlin Cup title in Moscow.
It was their seventh ATP World Tour team title. They are now 7-3 together on the year. Cermak is now 13-9 lifetime in title matches, while Mertinak improves to 29-20 in finals.
"I am very happy to have won today," said Mertinak. "It was important to me, because I didn’t play well when we last played here.
"We played well all week. In the second round we got a little lucky [against Ivo Karlovic and Frank Moser], but still won and overall I am happy."
Cermak and Mertinak, who also reached the 2009 final, received $36,950 in prize money and earned 250 ATP Doubles Team Rankings Race To London points. Bolelli and Bracciali split $19,410 and 150 points.
