Who’s Playing This Week?
There are three ATP World Tour 250 events in Brisbane, Chennai and Doha.

Brisbane International: World No. 3 Andy Murray opens his 2013 season as the top-seeded reigning champion in Brisbane. He is joined by Top 20 players Milos Raonic (second seed), Gilles Simon (third seed), last year’s runner-up Alexandr Dolgopolov (fourth seed) and Kei Nishikori (fifth seed). Maiden winner Radek Stepanek (2009) also features.

Aircel Chennai Open: Top 10 players Tomas Berdych and Janko Tipsarevic are the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in Chennai. Berdych reached the semi-finals, while Tipsarevic was the finalist last year. They are joined by third seed Marin Cilic, the 2009-2010 champion, and fourth seed Stanislas Wawrinka, the 2011 titlist.

Qatar ExxonMobil Open: Top seed David Ferrer, the 2012 ATP World Tour leader in titles and match wins, returns to Doha for the first time since 2005. Second seed Richard Gasquet will make his second appearance, alongside No. 3 seed Philipp Kohlschreiber, No. 4 seed Mikhail Youzhny and 2010 champion Nikolay Davydenko.

Player To Watch: Marin Cilic
CilicCilic is seeded third at the Aircel Chennai Open, where he is a two-time former champion (2009-2010) and boasts a 13-2 mark. Though he was sidelined for the first eight weeks of the 2012 season with a left knee injury, Cilic went on to compile a 39-19 mark, winning maiden titles on both grass (London Queen’s) and clay (Umag). He reached his second quarter-final at the US Open, the fourth round of Wimbledon and third round of Roland Garros en route to finishing the year as the World No. 15.
