Top seeds Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan booked a semi-final berth at the U.S. National Indoor Tennis Championships in Memphis on Friday, defeating Santiago Gonzalez and Scott Lipsky 7-5, 6-4 in 63 minutes.
The American twins, who won the tournament in 2001 and 2004, secured 94 per cent of first serve points en route to victory, and will face fourth seeds Alexander Peya and Bruno Soares on Saturday.
At the Open 13 in Marseille, second seeds Rohan Bopanna and Colin Fleming triumphed over third seeds Julian Knowle and Filip Polasek 7-5, 6-1 to become the first team through to the final.
The Indian/Great British pairing will meet either top seeds Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi and Jean-Julien Rojer or Frenchmen Nicolas Mahut and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
In Buenos Aires, Italy's Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini won through to the semi-finals of Copa Claro with a 6-4, 6-2 win over top seeds Frantisek Cermak and Michal Mertinak. They'll battle third seeds Oliver Marach and Horacio Zeballos for a place in the final.
On the bottom half of the draw, Aljaz Bedene and Andrey Kuznetsov toppled second seeds Daniele Bracciali and Lukas Dlouhy 6-4, 6-3 to set up a semi-final clash against Nicholas Monroe and Simon Stadler.
