Who’s Playing This Week?
There is one ATP World Tour Masters 1000 event in Monte-Carlo.
Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters: Eight of the Top 10 players are in action at the Monte-Carlo Country Club as the season shifts to the European spring clay-court swing. Top seed Novak Djokovic bids for his first event crown, while second seed Andy Murray seeks his first clay-court title. Both will likely need to dethrone Rafael Nadal if they want to taste victory, as the ‘King Of Clay’ has lifted the trophy eight years running. Fourth seed Tomas Berdych is a two-time semi-finalist (2007, 2012).

The Mallorcan has made a triumphant return from a left knee injury this season after being sidelined for seven months. The 22-time Masters 1000 champion has a 17-1 record and is riding a 14-match win streak, picking up three straight trophies in Buenos Aires (d. Nalbandian), Acapulco (d. Ferrer) and Indian Wells (d. del Potro).
