A day after the Wimbledon final, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic took centre stage once again to raise £1.2 million for disadvantaged youths at the Novak Djokovic Foundation’s inaugural London Gala dinner at The Roundhouse.

The charity’s Global Ambassador Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, and event chairs Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell and Boris Becker lent their support to the Serbian’s cause, and were joined in attendance by Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie of York, Jeremy Piven, Gerard Butler, Hayley Atwell, Richard Branson, Tim Henman, Marion Bartoli, Branislav Ivanovic and Jonathan Ross.

The Novak Djokovic Foundation held its first star-studded fundraising dinner in New York last September following the US Open and raised more than $1.4 million.

“The Foundation’s vision is to raise awareness of disadvantaged young people in Serbia and around the world, especially those who’ve had fewer opportunities to reach their full potential. With the help of my friends, family and supporters, I hope we can raise the much needed funds required to make a difference to the lives of these young children,” said Djokovic.
