Two-time former Roland Garros champion Sergi Bruguera will team up with Sebastien Grosjean to coach Richard Gasquet, starting in February 2014.

Gasquet told French daily sports newspaper L’Equipe, "It's not easy to find a coach. I had been thinking about four or five names but a few were already taken. I wanted to continue working with a foreigner.

“I talked a lot with Sebastien and he told me that he knows Sergi Bruguera well. He has a lot of experience at a high level. He's easy going and intelligent. I think it's a good choice. He will be with me from February on."

Former World No. 3 Bruguera compiled a 14-21 record in tour-level finals, which included title runs at 1993-1994 Roland Garros and the 1991, 1993 Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters.

Gasquet finished 2013 at No. 9 in the Emirates ATP Rankings, having won three ATP World Tour titles and losing in the US Open semi-finals.

Gasquet parted company with his former coach, Riccardo Piatti, at the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London three weeks ago.
