World No. 1 Novak Djokovic played a football match for charity on Tuesday night in Monaco, joining Star Team Monaco against a Formula One team that included Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.

“I had a lot of fun tonight at the World Stars Football Match that was played on the Louis II Stadium in Monaco,” Djokovic shared in a Facebook post. “F1 Drivers vs Star team (my team!) played to raise funds for underprivileged children around the world.”

Monegasque royals Andrea and Charlotte Casiraghi were among those who watched Djokovic’s team clinch a 3-2 victory in the annual football match.

Last month in Monaco, Djokovic received a €10,000 ATP ACES For Charity grant in support of The Novak Djokovic Foundation, an advocate for childhood development and inclusive preschool education.
