Raven Klaasen and Eric Butorac continued their giant-killing run at the Australian Open Thursday, upsetting eighth seeds Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic 6-2, 6-4 to reach their first Grand Slam final. In Saturday’s title match the South African/American duo will play Poland’s Lukasz Kubot and Sweden’s three-time Wimbledon finalist Robert Lindstedt.

Klaasen and Butorac, who took out top seeds and six-time champions Bob and Mike Bryan in the third round, are playing in their first Grand Slam together. Leading into the Australian Open they reached the semi-finals in Auckland.

Klaasen tweeted afterwards, "What a day!! Eric and I got the win! Now we have day off before the Aus Open finals on saturday! Loving the support!!"

Kubot and Lindstedt, playing just their third tour-level tournament together, recovered from the disappointment of losing a 26-point second-set tie-break to beat Frenchmen Michael Llodra and Nicolas Mahut 6-4, 6-7(12), 6-3.
