It has been a busy few days off the court for players this week in the lead up to the first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournament of the year, the BNP Paribas Open. ATPWorldTour.com provides a recap of the highlights.

The ATP World Tour stars have been taking part in the 2014 ATP Marketing Shoot. Milos Raonic tweeted as he was being oiled up, while fellow rising star and last week’s Abierto Mexicano Telcel champion Grigor Dimitrov gave his steeliest look in front of the green screen at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.

Defending champion Rafael Nadal attended the draw ceremony for the BNP Paribas Open on Wednesday, when an exclusive portrait of the Spaniard was unveiled by artist Mike Sullivan. World No. 1 Nadal is in the top half of the Indian Wells draw, along with Andy Murray, Roger Federer and Australian Open champion Stanislas Wawrinka. Young American Jack Sock sat down for five minutes with the BNP Paribas Open Blog, revealing why his nickname is J. Sizzle and and his hopes for a round of golf in Palm Springs. Switzerland’s Stanislas Wawrinka spent a day in Los Angeles to promote the BNP Paribas Open, his first tournament since winning the Australian Open title. The World No. 3 began his day at Universal Studios, where he received a private tour of the backlot and enjoyed a few rides, before heading into the television studio to do interviews with CNN, ESPN.com and Nacion ESPN. He concluded his day at the Staples Center, where he met LA Kings forward Mike Richards before watching his first NHL game. Read More & Watch Video
