Bryans To Face Dodig/Melo In Final

Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan reached the final of the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters on Saturday as they defeated fifth seeds Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic 7-6(5) 6-3 in 74 minutes.
The Bryans are on a 20-match winning streak and are looking to win their fifth title in a row after triumphing in Delray Beach (d. Cermak/Elgin), Indian Wells (d. Peya/Soares), Miami (d. Cabal/Farah) and Houston (d. Marrero/Verdasco) leading into Monte-Carlo.
As a team, they are chasing their 98th tour-level title, while individually Mike Bryan is looking to become the first player to claim 100 doubles trophies.

The 35-year-old twins are looking to win their 29th ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title and fourth in Monte-Carlo. They previously lifted the trophy in 2007 (d. Benneteau/Gasquet), 2011 (d. Chela/Soares) and 2012 (d. Mirnyi/Nestor). They finished runners-up last year to Julien Benneteau and Zimonjic.
In the final, the Bryans will face third seeds Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo, who reached their first ATP World Tour doubles final of the season as they defeated Max Mirnyi and Mikhail Youzhny 6-3, 1-6, 10-6.
The Croatian/Brazilian duo reached two finals together last season, winning the ATP World Tour Masters 1000 crown in Shanghai (d. Marrero/Verdasco) and finishing runners-up at Wimbledon (l. to Bryans. They qualified for the year-end Barclays ATP World Tour Finals, where they reached the semi-finals (l. to Marrero/Verdasco).
