MONTE-CARLO ROLEX MASTERS 2014
Federer, Wawrinka Enjoy Friendly Prep Before Monte-Carlo Final

While Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka are set to battle for the Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters trophy on Sunday afternoon, the Swiss have no plans to let a title match interfere with their friendship on the ATP World Tour.
When asked about his plans ahead of playing a fourth Monte Carlo final, Federer shared that he would be having dinner with Wawrinka on the eve of their match, and would be warming up with his fellow Swiss before the final scheduled for 3 pm CET.
“I have no problems warming up with Stan,” said Federer. “I will relax tonight and have dinner with Stan, who has his wife here.”
It will be the first all-Swiss ATP World Tour final since 2000 Marseille, when Federer fell to Marc Rosset. Federer is chasing his eighth different ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title and 22nd overall, while Wawrinka is vying for his maiden Masters 1000 crown. The match will also break the Novak Djokovic-Rafael Nadal stranglehold on the Masters 1000 series. Coming into Monte-Carlo, the pair held all nine titles between them.
Federer and Wawrinka have played each other 14 times in their FedEx ATP Head2Head series, with Federer winning 13 of those encounters, most recently in the BNP Paribas Open fourth round. Wawrinka, though, won their only previous encounter in Monte-Carlo, in the Round of 16 in 2009.
