Juan Monaco called it the “nicest day of my life” after seeing fellow Argentine, His Holiness Pope Francis, at the Vatican. "It's an amazing feeling to see the Pope up close and how many people came. It's unbelievable how proud Argentinians are that we have an Argentinian Pope. You can feel the love he gives to everybody. Dimitrov, MurrayAndy Murray picked up a new trade, assisting the tournament hairdresser during Grigor Dimitrov’s haircut on site. The British No. 1 grabbed a blow dryer and brush to help fix the young Bulgarian’s hair. Dimitrov was pleased with the final result, expressing his gratitude with a simple, “Beautiful!” Read More

Italians Filippo Volandri and Nicola Pietrangeli took part in the Internazionali BNL d'Italia draw ceremony at Piazza del Campidoglio, located on Capitoline Hill. “It’s always nice to be here in Rome,” said Volandri. “It’s like my second home city.” Pietrangeli, who resides in Rome, added: “It’s far and away the most beautiful place you can imagine.” Watch

Andreas Seppi got up close and personal with home country fans, flooded with requests for photos and autographs on visits with tournament sponsors BNL, Gazzetta dello Sport, Rolex, Moet & Chandon and Ford. Hundreds of fans also swarmed the adidas booth on-site for a chance to get an autograph from top Italian Fabio Fognini. Watch

BerdychJo-Wilfried Tsonga, Tomas Berdych and Milos Raonic also met fans during sponsor visits at the Foro Italico. Tsonga showed off his ping-pong skills while in the Moet & Chandon suite, while Berdych met 'Bjorn Borg' and 'John McEnroe' on his tour. Watch

Berdych enjoyed another flashback when a group of children on site gave chase as he rode a cart through site. “When I was a kid I used to do the same,” he said with a smile. “Now I’m in a better position, so now they can run.”
