Djokovic and One Direction's Niall Horan Hit In Toronto

Toronto, Canada

Ahead of next week's Rogers Cup in Toronto, where he is a three-time champion, World No. 1 Novak Djokovic took some time to support his friend Niall Horan, of the band One Direction, as the quintet performed in the Canadian city on Friday evening.

Horan and Djokovic also met after the final of Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in 2013. Horan visited Djokovic outside his locker room at The O2 in London on that occasion after watching Djokovic defeat Rafael Nadal 6-3, 6-4 to win the ATP World Tour season finale for the third time.

On Saturday Horan returned the favour, visiting his Serbian friend as the top seed continued his preparation for the Rogers Cup. Horan posted a photo with Djokovic in the Rexall Centre locker room and included a message to his 6.6 million followers.

"I was terrible! But was an amazing experience to play with the No. 1 tennis player in the world! Just incredible!" Horan added, "Thank you to all of you guys, coz if it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be able to do amazing stuff like that."
