2000 -- Captured first Challenger title at Yokohama (w/Knowle). Also reached final at three other Challenger tournaments.
2001 -- Won Challenger title at Eisenach (w/Trifu) and reached final at Challengers in Luebeck, Seoul and Eckental. Claimed first Futures title at France #16 (w/Stauder).
2002 -- Started year by winning singles and doubles Futures title at U.S. #1. In doubles, claimed Challenger titles at Gosford (w/Bower) and Eckental (w/Zovko) .
2003 -- In doubles, compiled a 14-9 match record. Reached 3rd RD at Australian Open (w/Federer). Reached SF at Bangkok (w/Chiudinelli) and also three QF. Won first ATP title in Vienna (w/Federer). Finished in Top 50 for first time at No. 47.
2004 -- Represented his country at Athens Olympics and lost in 2nd RD (w/Federer). Reached ATP finals in Casablanca and Long Island (w/Kohlmann) and Bangkok (w/Federer). Also reached SF in Sydney (w/Schuettler) and Tokyo (w/Kohlmann). Compiled a 24-25 match record. Finished a year-end best No. 42 in doubles.
2005
The Swiss native compiled a 20-27 match record in doubles and finished in Top 50 doubles rankings for third straight year at No. 44. Began year by winning title in Auckland (d. Aspelin-Perry) and reaching final in San Jose (l. to Arthurs-Hanley), both with German Michael Kohlmann. Represented country in Davis Cup 1st RD against The Netherlands and World Group playoff tie vs. Great Britain, winning both matches . Reached QF at ATP Masters Series Indian Wells and Munich. Captured doubles title in Halle (w/Federer), defeating J. Johannson-Safin. Best Grand Slam performance was 2nd Rd at Roland Garros and US Open. Earned a career-high $106,079.
