1989- Doubles Runner-up at USTA Sat. #4 (w/Salumaa w/30 ATP pts.), USTA Sat.
#5 (w/Salumaa w/26 ATP pts.).
A four-year standout from 1985-88 at Louisiana State University where he
earned All-America honors his senior year. Helped the Tigers reach the NCAA
final in 1988 where they lost to Stanford 5-2.
Graduated in Liberal Arts in 1988.
Captured his first career doubles title (qualifying) at New Haven with
Scott Melville in August 1990, defeating Goran Ivanisevic and Petr Korda in
the final. Also, defeated Jim Grabb-Patrick McEnroe and Rick Leach-Jim Pugh
en route to the final. Jumped from 266 to No. 113 on the ATP computer.
Captured the 1984 Orange Bowl doubles title in 1984.
