cluding the U.S. Open. They have combined to win 44 titles together.
The Spaniards reached the semifinals of the U.S. Open and at the Nabisco
Masters in '87. Made their fourth straight Masters outing in '88 (runner-up).
The team compiled a 27-match winning streak in 1988 that ended in the
final of the Olympic Games in Seoul where they lost in five sets to Flach-
Seguso.
The 1982 Spanish National Champion and a quarterfinalist at the 1980
Orange Bowl.
