In August, reached first career ATP Tour SF and won Geneva Challenger for his first career title...Beat Fetterlein, Gumy and Schaller before losing to A. Costa in San Marino SF and followed that with a QF at Poznan Challenger the next week...Kept momentum going by winning Geneva (d. Gross in final), pushing him to No. 135 after ranking No. 193 when San Marino began...Other Challenger highlights included SF in Bratislava and Campinas and QF in Weiden and Eisenach...Also won first career Challenger doubles title in Bratislava (w/Kuerten) and added another in Tashkent (w/Portas) four months later in September...Added three additional Challenger doubles SF in Eisenach (w/E. Alvarez), Montauban (w/Yunis) and Budapest (w/Frontera) to finish year-end best No. 198 in doubles...Earned career-high $56,630.
