losing to local favorite Andres Gomez.
He helped countryman Guy Forget clinch the No. 1 (individual) position
on the 1986 NGP bonus pool standings as he reached the finals at Itaparica
with Forget.
Earned a career-high $21,786 in 1987 and finished No. 189 on the ATP
computer rankings, his best year-end mark since he was 166 in 1982.
