Singles title: 1972--(1) Kansas City
Was a three-time All-American at University of Southern California where
he received a Bachelor of Science degree in English in 1967. Was the U.S.
National Hard Court junior champion in 1958, and the California state junior
champion in 1959. He was ranked No. 3 in the U.S. in doubles in 1963 (w/Bill
Bond) and No. 4 in 1964 (w/Ashe). Was the U.S. National Hardcourt doubles
champion in 1963 and '65. Won Pacific Southwest doubles crown in '65.
Member U.S. Davis Cup team 1965.
