Fibak almost single handedly spurred tennis interest in his native Poland... He is a man of diverse interests, including the law, economics, history, and above all, art... He owns the largest collection of Polish master painting outside of Poland... He hopes someday to turn his art collection into a museum where parents can tak their children to learn about art, as his parents did with him... He won the 1975 ATP Most Improved Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year awards... Residence: Greenwich, Connecticut... Wife, Eva; Daughters: Agnieska, Paulina.

Best Grand Slam Results: Quarterfinalist at 1980 Wimbledon, U.S. Open, French Open, 1977 French Open; RD 16 at 1978 Australian Open.

Qualified for WCT Dallas Finals in 1977/81/82/83 and was the '78 Grand Prix doubles champion.
