The American enjoyed a solid season rising to a career-high No. 127 in November… Went 4-6 in ATP singles play and 1-2 in doubles action…Reached first ATP QF in Los Angeles (l. to Stepanek), recording first Top 10 win over No. 6-ranked Gonzalez in 1st RD… As a qualifier, reached 2nd RD at Australian Open (l. to Arthurs) and 1st RD at Wimbledon (l. to Haas)…On Challenger circuit, finished runner-up in Valencia (l. to Bogdanovic) in addition to SF performances in Sacramento and Dallas…Also a QF in four other tournaments.
