A member of Austrian's Davis Cup team since 1987. He posted a 4-0 mark
in singles in '88, helping his country to the 1989 World Group.
Lost in the first round at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games (l. Edberg).
The 1985-86 Austrian Indoor champion and two-time Orange Bowl winner in
1984-85.
Began playing tennis at age 6.
Turned pro fulltime in 1986 when he finished No. 42 on the ATP computer
