Louk Sorensen is the son of Ireland's Davis Cup captain, Sean Sorensen, a former professional player, who competed at 1977 Wimbledon (l. to Laver in 1st RD) and finished runner-up to Mats Wilander at an ATP Challenger Tour event in Buchholz, Germany, in February 1982… His mother, Helga, has both Norwegian and Austrian blood… Two sisters Lisa and Josephine... Brother Kevin... Started playing tennis aged 3... His parents reside in Dublin, Ireland… Sorensen lives in Stuttgart, Germany, where he plays for TC Doggenburg in the German Tennis League, Bundesliga… He has a 10-2 singles record in Davis Cup, having made his debut in July 2005...
