Charlotte 1973-WCT/Miami 1971-Merion 1984- Doubles quarterfinalist at U.S. Open (w/Lloyd) Winner of 20 U.S. national junior titles, second to Scott Davis. 1968 Orange Bowl champion. Was 1970 U.S. Amateur singles and doubles champion. All-American at Trinity University in 1969, '72. 1972 NCAA singles and doubles champion. Best year was 1977 when he defeated Connors for the U.S. Pro Indoor title, was runner-up to Connors at the WCT Dallas Finals and achieved world Top 10 ranking.
