In 1987 reached a career-high six finals, winning lone title at Indianapolis (w/Willenborg). In 1991, qualified for the year-end ATP Tour World Doubles Championship in Johannesburg (w/Jensen) and earned a career-high $186,346. Finished a year-end best No. 12 that year. Captured his first career Grand Slam at the Australian Open in 1993 (w/Visser), defeating Fitzgerald-Jarryd in the final. Qualified for the ATP World Doubles Championship three times. Personal: Retired from ATP Tour in 1994 and 2006 is his 11th year as men's tennis assistant coach at Arizona State University...Wife Julie (July 1994) and children Ben (1997) and the twins Sophie and Jack (2001)...a scratch golfer...still competes annually in the Legends Doubles at the Australian Open.
