Ferrer Wins Third Straight Title
David Ferrer triumphed at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel for the third straight year, dismissing Fernando Verdasco 6-1, 6-2 in 70 minutes to notch his 15th successive win in Acapulco. Ferrer is just the second player to win three titles in a row at the ATP World Tour 500 event, joining Thomas Muster, who lifted four consecutive crowns from 1993-1996. Read Match Report
