Del Potro Claims Fifth Title
Top seed Juan Martin del Potro clinched his fifth career singles title at the Heineken Open in Auckland by defeating American No. 6 seed Sam Querrey 6-4, 6-4. The 20-year-old del Potro, who finished the 2008 ATP World Tour season as the youngest player in the Top 10 at No. 9 in the South African Airways ATP Rankings, was the first Argentine to reach the Auckland final.
