BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy Integral Part Of Bustling Bucharest

The ATP World Tour 250 tournament, held since 1993, changed its name to the BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy in 2011 in honour of its two iconic ambassadors Ilie Nastase and Ion Tiriac.

Giant-Killer Rosol - In reaching his first ATP World Tour final, Lukas Rosol knocked out third seed Andreas Seppi, eighth seed Viktor Troicki and second seed Gilles Simon.

Garcia-Lopez Misses Out - Guillermo Garcia-Lopez was appearing in his first final since October 2010. The 29 year old beat three seeded opponents en route to the title match.

Lukas Rosol won his first ATP World Tour title as he completed an emotional run at the BRD Nastase Tiriac Trophy, brushing aside Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-3, 6-2 in the final. During the ceremony, Rosol dedicated the title to his father, who had passed away 10 days earlier.
