ATP World Tour Reaches Exhilirating Heights In Dubai
Since its inaugural tournament in 1993, the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships has consistently showcased the world's best players in competition and also in spectacular locations around Dubai. In 2005, two ATP World Tour Champions - Andre Agassi and Roger Federer - scaled the Burj Al Arab for a friendly practice session atop the helipad at the iconic hotel. The tournament has won the ATP World Tour 500 award nine times in 10 years (2003-06, 2008-12).

Berdych Falls Just Short - Tomas Berdych reached his second ATP World Tour final in as many weeks (also Marseille), saving three match points to beat Roger Federer in the semi-finals.

Federer Fails In Title Bid - Roger Federer dropped to 37-5 in Dubai after losing to Tomas Berdych in the semi-finals. The Swiss lifted the trophy in 2003-05, 2007 and 2012.

Bhupathi Is Doubles Master - Mahesh Bhupathi, 38, won his fifth Dubai doubles title with his fifth different partner. He teamed up with Michael Llodra for the first time in 2013.
