The Best Of Men's & Women's Tennis
Formerly the International Women's Open, Britain's biggest international women's event has joined forces with the ATP World Tour to host a combined men's and women's tournament in 2009. In past year's the men's ATP World Tour event was played in Nottingham, where Ivo Karlovic won back-to-back titles in 2007-2008 and Richard Gasquet won consecutive crowns in 2005-06.

Dream Run - Canadian qualifier Frank Dancevic enjoyed a dream run through to his second ATP World Tour final, including victory over top seed Igor Andreev in the first round.

Twice Victorious - It was the second time Tursunov and Dancevic had met in an ATP World Tour final, with the Russian also taking the spoils in straight sets in the Indianapolis final in 2007.

Early Exit - Third seed Paul-Henri Mathieu was ousted in a testing first-round clash against Serbian Janko Tipsarevic. It was the Frenchman's fourth first-round exit of the season.

Tursunov Wins First Grass Title
ATP World Tour No. 27 Dmitry Tursunov gained a boost in confidence ahead of The Championships at Wimbledon after winning his first grass-court ATP World Tour title with a 6-3, 7-6(5) victory over Canadian qualifier Frank Dancevic in the final of the AEGON International. The 26-year-old Tursunov clinched his sixth ATP World Tour title from his eighth final.
