ATP ACES For Charity: St. Petersburg

The Infant Leukemia Therapy Department at the St. Petersburg First Children’s Hospital benefits from the arrival of tennis each year in the Russian city. 

Charities and Causes
In 2010, the St. Petersburg Open began a long-term support program for the Infant Leukemia Therapy Department at the St. Petersburg First Children’s Hospital. Benjamin Becker and Pablo Andujar attended the launch of the program. 

Highlights
In 2011, the St. Petersburg Open made donations to equip a new play room at the hospital and also to improve medical equipment. Specifically the St. Petersburg Open donated funds to make parental stay at the hospital more comfortable. The St. Petersburg Open and Ad Vita are also supporting the integration of selected patients recovering from leukemia into the local sports community.

The St. Petersburg Open received a grant from ATP ACES for $10,000 in 2012.
