The Lexus ATP Head2Head rivalry between Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner has become one of the most intriguing matchups in tennis.
They have met on the biggest stages of the sport, including Grand Slams and ATP Masters 1000 events.
Their first professional meeting came on the ATP Challenger Tour. A 15-year-old Alcaraz faced a 17-year-old Sinner in Alicante in April 2019. The tournament's draw also featured former Top 10 player Tommy Robredo and Alejandro Davidovich Fokina among others.
In a typically tight match between the pair, Alcaraz squeaked by Sinner 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 in one hour and 50 minutes. Watch below to check out the first action between two of the biggest stars in the spoirt.
