    • Began playing tennis at age 5 and has suffered from diabetes since age 4. Created Alexander Zverev Foundation in 2022 to support children with diabetes and provide medication for those in developing countries with the condition.

    • Father, Alexander, and mother, Irina, are former pro tennis players who have served as his coach; brother, Mischa, also plays on ATP Tour. Family moved from Russia to Germany in 1991.

    • Finished in Top 10 for 5 straight years from 2017-2021 withyear-end best No. 3 in 2021. Returned to Top 10 in 2023 and qualified for Nitto ATP Finals for 6th time.
    • Led ATP Tour with 6 titles in 2021 andwon his 20th title in his birthplace of Hamburg in 2023. He has the most titles (21) of all players born since 1990.
    • Has winsover No. 1 Djokovic en route to 2018 Nitto ATP Finals, 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2021 Nitto ATP Finals championships.
    • Reached 1st Grand Slam final at 2020 US Open, rallying from 2-set deficit for 1st time to defeat Carreno Busta inSF before squandering2-set lead for 1st time against Thiem infinal.
    • Defeated Djokovic at 2017 Rome and Federer at 2017 Montreal for 1st and 2nd of his 5 ATP Masters 1000 titles.
    • Joined Murray and Thiem as 3rd player to defeat Djokovic on hard (3 times), Federer on grass (2016 Halle SF) and Nadal on clay (2021 Madrid QF).
