    Ranked as the No. 2 player in the USTA 16s in 1991.
    Member of the U.S. National team and his parents took him out of school
    in the sixth grade to tutor him at home. Finished high school by corespond-
    ence and has 20 credits in college courses. Began playing at age six.
    Quarterfinalist in singles and semifinalist in doubles at the USTA Boys'
    18s National Championships in 1991.
    Won the USTA Boys' 18s Clay Courts and semifinalist in singles at the
    Astrid Bowl in Belgium in 1991.
    Runner-up at the Australian Open Juniors (l. to Grant Doyle) and Wimble-
    don Juniors (l. to David Skoch) in 1992. Ranked No. 1 in the world junior
    rankings on July 6, 1992 and finished 1. Captured the 1992 U.S. Open juniors.
    Made his tour debut at Scottsdale as a wildcard, losing to Glenn Layen-
    decker in the first round.
