Since his retirement from the circuit in 1987, Dunk has gone on to a successful career in the business world. In 1994 he founded CD Communications Service which has grown to become a multi million dollar telecommunications services provider. In 2004 he started another telecommunications firm, BandTel. Wife, Marisol Madariaga from Santiago, Chile; children, Jasie and Max.
