PERSONAL

Since 2007 Mats has been working as a consultant to the Adidas Player Development Program, traveling up to 30 weeks a year. He is trying to help the players maximize their potential and reach their goals and dreams.

Having worked as a consultant in the sports industry for the last 9 years, I have gained experience in sports marketing, product marketing, social media and press relations. Working in this field I have developed excellent communication and organizational skills both internally and externally and have built strong relationships for various companies. I am very flexible, happy to be a team player and develop new strategies. It is all about maximizing one’s potential. Acting as a lead consultant, my role is to identify global tennis assets and recommend them to the sports marketing tennis division.
Once the athletes have been contracted, my responsibilities are keeping an eye on their progress and development and watching them closely at events. If requested and agreed on with the sports marketing division, I am partly involved in their development and progress, working closely with the assets and their teams and helping them maximize their potential both on and off the court.
Career planning and decision-making, tournament scheduling, choices on staff are part of my responsibilities as well.
