    • Ex-World No. 4 junior finished2022 at year-end-high No. 40 after reaching 1st ATP Tour final at Pune (l. to J. Sousa) and earning personal-best 35 tour-level wins during season.
    • In 2023, advanced to 1st ATP Masters 1000 QF in Miami (l. to Sinner) and afterwards improved to career-high ranking of No. 37 on 3 April.
    • Defeated No. 5 Thiem during 2019 Davis Cup tie and No. 7 A. Zverev en route to 2021 ATP Masters 1000 Miami 4R.
    • In 2020, reached 1st SF at Astana after winning ATP debut at Montpellier (d. Novak), ATP Masters 1000 debut at Cincinnati (d. Korda) and Grand Slam debut at US Open (d. Bedene).
    • Posted 36-12 Challenger record in 2019 with titles at Fergana, Mallorca, Glasgow and Helsinki.
    • Began playing tennis at age 5 after a tennis coach spotted him playing badminton with his mom, Eva, and convinced him to switch sports.
