    • Broke into Top 10 in 2008 after beating No. 1 Federer at Toronto and No. 1 Nadal at Madrid, then peaked at No. 6 in 2009.
    • Qualified for 2008 Nitto ATP Finals, defeating Federer in RR before losing to Djokovic in 3-set SF.
    • Captured biggest of 14 titles at 2011 Hamburg and reached ATP Masters 1000 finals at 2008 Madrid (l. to Murray) and 2014 Shanghai (l. to Federer).
    • Advanced to Grand Slam QFs at 2009 Australian Open and 2015 Wimbledon, having played 14 Grand Slam matches that exceeded 4 hours (6-8).
    • Defeated Johnson in 2022 Roland Garros 2R as 157th-ranked WC to become 3rd Frenchman with at least 500 career wins (also Gasquet, Monfils).
